Nocturne in E minor, Op. 72 No. 1

One of Chopin's earliest nocturnes, published after his death. The left hand's wide arpeggios, spanning more than an octave, carry the whole piece; practise them alone with the pedal until they are smooth, then add the singing melody, including its later two-voice passages.
