Invention No. 1 in C, BWV 772

J. S. Bach (1685-1750) - Fifteen Two-Part Inventions (1723)

Bach wrote the Inventions to teach 'a singing style of playing' and how to develop one idea. The short motive of the first bar passes between the hands, upside down as often as right way up, for all 22 bars. Find and bring out each entry of the motive; detach the eighths, keep the sixteenths smooth.
